Ed Hooper is fighting for us in Tallahassee!

Six years ago, retired Clearwater firefighter Ed Hooper was elected to the Florida House of Representatives. He has not forgotten who he represents!

Keeping our taxes low. Since Ed was first elected in 2006, state spending has decreased by more than $3.5 billion. He knows how tough times are for Florida families.
Keeping our families safe. Ed Hooper served as a Clearwater firefighter for nearly 25 years and he takes seriously the job of keeping our families safe. He sponsored a bill strengthening penalties for domestic violence and cosponsored legislation urging Congress to create a Silver Alert Grant Program.
Putting people above politics. Ed voted against allowing drilling 3 miles off our beautiful Pinellas beaches. He also voted in favor of property rights in the face of powerful lobbyists and helped secure funding for the Willa Carson Health Resource Center to provide health care for the underinsured in Clearwater.

Since Ed Hooper was first elected in 2006, the state budget has been lowered and government is smaller-for the first time in Florida’s history.
